Performs direct patient care within the scope of the RN. Communicated effectively and takes direction from charge nurse regarding flow of the unit. Critical thinking skills used to care for emergent STEMI or critical patients in CCL. Performs preop and recovery, TEE and cardioversion, tilt tables in ARU as assigned. Performs the primary function of assessing, planning and evaluating the care of the patient. Responsible for meeting the established policies/standards of practice for this facility. Identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patients-plans and carries out individualized patient care. Daily use of analytical and decision-making skills. Promotes and maintains patient safety standards. Participates in performance improvement activities to assure continuous quality improvement. Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers. Effectively communicates with customers. Promotes a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of the company.
Requirement
Basic healthcare provider (BLS) certification and ACLS are required. Previous 2 years experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
